Our mission is child-centered and all of our fund-raising efforts support our educational mission.

We are delighted to share with you the many ways alumni, 父母 and friends support 圣爱德华’s School. An independent school, governed by a Board of Trustees, 圣爱德华’s is a tax-exempt 501 © 3 not-for-profit organization. Our mission is child-centered and all of our fund-raising efforts support our educational mission. Our operating revenue comes from tuition and fundraising and is supplemented with interest drawn from our endowment every year.

Tuition dollars cover approximately 90% of the actual costs of attending 圣爱德华’s and an additional 10% is raised from alumni, 父母, 爷爷奶奶, 教职员工, and friends every year to fill the gap between tuition revenue and expenses. These gap dollars are called Annual Funds and in this sense every child at the school is a beneficiary of the financial aid raised by the school. Additional dollars are contributed each year by donors to directly benefit financial aid for students.

Donors also support 圣爱德华’s through gifts to endowments and gifts for capital improvements, or gifts to enhance specific programs (restricted gifts). Donors with an interest in tax issues or those considering estate or trust gifts will benefit from learning more about our planned giving program and The Benedict Legacy Society.
